I am Aye Kyaw and live in the Garlai camp in Kutkai. I am make a living by searching mushrooms, honey, and insert in the forest and selling it to the merchant in the camp. They bring it and sell again the town. My work is hard and full of danger. Some time we have to work till midnight. In our region, there is also a lot of arm group are settle and we have to careful of landmine when we go to forest. We also need to clip the high tree to get the honey.<div>I attended the handicraft training supported by GIZ. The training was conducted in Lashio and we have learn punch needle, table loom and decoupage as well as learn the market assessment. When I visited the market in Lashio, I know that there is a market demand of handmade items and I get motivated to produce the handmade products.</div>
